Today I’ve had an unforgettable interview with a customer in Japan.
My boss told me about that interview 2 days ago, so I tried my best to prepare carefully.
I’ve written all questions I thought they would ask.
I’ve tried to answer all of that clearly and completely.
I’ve been so confident and sure that I will do it well.
And today, in the interview, I gave a great speech about myself and my experience, I’m so proud of my English.
But life is not a dream, my customer said that he could not understand English, and although his secretary could, he wanted me say again…in Japanese.
I didn’t prepare anything in Japanese. My Japanese was not good too.
I began to stammer and my boss had to tell something to help me. I felt so embarrassed !!
My customer asked if I like to work with 3D project, but I think he said “syumi” – a hobby in Japanese, so I began to talk about my hobbies :((((((((((
Anyway, after the interview, my boss told me my Japanese was bad, but on the other hand my English was good enough to made him surprised!
