Today is 2nd day in Phu Quoc island, we went to Pearl Factory, Coconut Prison, Sao beach and go cuttle fishing. We began from 8AM and came back in 3PM.
We went to Quoc An Pearl Factory, they have very big farm in the sea to make pearl and they have big store too. We just can saw but touch because it was so so expensive hahahah.
Then we went to the Coconut Prison, where the Enemy stored and did many tortures with Vietnamese. It was so terrible. The Prison is around 40,000 square meters and can stored hundreds of prisoners at the same time. One of special things here is Tiger cage. The prisoners have to stay in dark container, so any light in some days and just have a few rice with salt. They were not allowed to go outside to toilet so they had to do that inside OMG (#.#). After few days all of them are exhausted and nearly died.
From Coconut Prison to Sao beach is just 7km. This is the most beautiful of this Island. The water is soooo clean, you can walk over 100m to the sea and still see your feet. The sand is different with other most of other beach, it likes gypsum. There are many restaurants but the price is so high, so you really should bring your food together. You can rent sun chairs with around 30-50k each one or 150k each sun couch with in the resort in the left. We didn’t rent any chairs to save money so we sit in the sand under coconut tree.
After swimming we so tired so we didn’t go to An Thoi market, some people told me that the seafood in that is cheap so I regretted about that. We went back to the Antinho hostel at 3PM.
Because of came back so early, we decided to go night squid fishing. In the hostel they sell it by 13$ but to save money we go to the Boating and asked boat manager. They provided tour from 5PM to 9PM with just 200k (9$) with 5 dishes of squid for dinner. Lastly we buy a tour of Phuong Truong boat by 7$ with just 1 dish of squid (squid soup). I thought that’s enough for our dinner (and actually it made us full because we can eat unlimited ^^).
